MOSCOW, Jan 15 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank fell 7.7% on the year to 781.6 billion rubles in 2020, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the bank said in a report on Friday.
In December 2020, the bank’s net profit rose to 62.5 billion rubles as compared with 55.9 billion rubles in December 2019.
The bank raised retail loans by 17% in 2020 to 8.474 trillion rubles as of January 1, while corporate loans increased 16.1% to 15.471 trillion rubles.
Retail deposits with the bank rose 15.3% in 2020 to 15.711 trillion rubles as of January 1, while corporate deposits increased 17.3% to 7.8 trillion rubles.
